Outline

An outline is your best friend when it comes to writing a paper.  Use this graphic organizer to plan out your paper.  If you do it well, it will basically write itself!

Draft

1. Set up your paper in MLA Format.
2. Follow your outline in order and expand your thoughts.

Edit

1. Read your paper out loud to yourself - no really do it!  Your ear is your best tool and you will hear what does not make sense.
2. Use this checklist to make sure you have all the parts.
3. If allowed, ask a friend, a parent, or teacher to read over your work.
